The steps necessary to know thyself starts with meditation. Meditation allowed me to experience parts of myself I had trouble expressing. I was blessed with the ability to express myself with art. I never attended any art school or programs, choosing instead to teach myself based on my instincts to paint one of a kind acrylic art on canvas.
Everyday I grow as an artist. I enjoy discovering new techniques that challenge my awareness and creativity. In the last six years I manifested Embot Gallery. Since then each year my art has reached a new plateau. I decided to expand my art onto different kinds of material such as vases, bottles, hand bags and sneakers.
One of the most rewarding moments for me was when I set up a table as a vendor at Union Square and 14th street. I was super excited to meet people who was easily influenced by my art. I received great responses in relation to my work that motivated me with a desire to expand my art even further. As the years passed I continued to showcase my art around New York City. Popular locations such as; Time Square, Noho Flea Market/Soho, West 4th street and Union Square.
As I moved around the states searching for more inspiration, different opportunities to showcase my art appeared. First I went to Largo, Florida and showcased my art in a Garden Art Fair at The Emporium which is a home and garden furniture store.
Crowne Plaza Hotel provided me with an opportunity to showcase my art in the lobby of the hotel. I truly and deeply appreciate the consideration and the time they took to put up all of my art work.
